もともとはメキシコ原産で温かい国出身なので日本の寒い冬は苦手です。

生産ハウスではどんな管理しているの？
8~9月
日差しで葉焼けしないようにシェード(日よけ)をかけて直射を避けています。
10月
朝晩は涼しくなってくるので、午前中、夕方は日を当てて光合成をさせています。下旬になってくると夜温が15℃を切ってくるので暖房の準備が必要です。
11月~12月
販売店に出回る11月は日中の日光も柔らかくなり、さんさんと日光浴をさせています。ただ、日中は暖かくても、夜はぐっと冷え込んでくるので、夜間は15℃以下にならないように暖房で温度管理をします。
ご家庭での管理もこの生産ハウスと同じ環境を作り出してあげれば必然と枯れることはありませんので、参考にしてみてください。

一番多いのはこの症状だと思います。
原因は寒さ。玄関先に置いていた。窓際に置いていた等々。
お客様に見てもらいたい気持ちは分かりますが、夜間も置いておくのは寒いのでNGです。
